Frogs of the Lismore Region

A successful ‘Frog enthusiasts evening’ was held at Lismore Hotel on Wednesday 13th June 2019. Over 30 people from a wide area attended to hear a line-up of excellent speakers. Speakers included FrogID app creator, Jodie Rowley on the importance of citizen science. Environmental consultant Ray Draper on the Growling grass frog, it’s decline since the 1980’s and the Chytrid fungus which is responsible for the decline of many frog species.

The project also resulted in the development of a "Frogs of Lismore" brochure.
